He studied painting at FAVU BUT in Brno, classical archeology at Masaryk University in Brno, art history and cultural history at University of Ostrava. He currently lives and works in Prague. In his artistic work, he mainly deals with drawing and graphics. He explores the possibilities of his own imagination, explores a vast reservoir of historical visual memory, which he tries to recontextualize and revive by inserting new symbols. The result of these efforts are the heads of gods, ancient kings that never existed or media beings from other planets not yet visited by humans. Among his sources of inspiration he considers spiritualist media drawings and Art brut. He is also dedicated to the author's book (The Adventures of Hans von Xeno the Cat, Hans von Xeno the Cat and a Still Life for a Mycophile) and book illustration (Jan Vrak – The Speech That Waits for its Morning), curator of contemporary art exhibitions and regularly contributes his texts on contemporary art to mostly to online periodicals.
